On January 13th our DU challenge will begin! You will do 1 Double Under on day 1 and will add 1 DU each day until we get to 60 DU's on the 60th day, March 22nd (not including Sundays) Sign up for the challenge at the gym. If you do not have your own jump rope, I highly suggest you get one. The Punk rope we got in class today is perfect to learn with. I can put in an order for several of these if anyone wants. (Details to come)
The Details:
1. The movement standards: the jump rope must pass under your feet twice for every one jump.
2. You can complete each day’s DU's all at once, or broken up and done at different times throughout the day. UNTIL Day 30! Starting on day 30, you must complete them in no more then 2 unbroken sets.
3. If for some reason you miss a day, you have to make up all the missed DU's the following day. You cannot get ahead on your DU's.
4. If you don’t start the challenge with us on Jan 11, you can “buy-in” at any time by doing ALL the missed day’s DU's on your first day and let a a coach know you joined in
5. Any DU's you complete during your workout of the day (WOD) DO NOT count towards that day’s DU's.
6. We are going on the honor system, no cheating:)
